Access To Innovation

The power of innovation; it creates competitive advantage, increases economic potential and improves the social well-being of our communities. We put innovation to work for industry.

Working with the Research Park will connect you to the “innovation inputs” of knowledge, people, and resources that will unleash the power of innovation in your organization.

How Does it Work

It’s easy. Simply contact Don Hewson in Sarnia-Lambton or Joel Adams in London. Our job is to assess your innovation needs, access innovation resources and work with you to unlock the innovation potential in your business, product, service, process or idea.

Your business can access unprecedented resources through the Park including;

  • Leading research from Western, one of Canada’s top research-intensive universities, and other academic partners across the country and around the world
  • The expertise of world-renowned scientists, engineers and scholars
  • Talented undergraduates, graduate students, and experienced hires, from sciences and engineering to business and the arts
  • Cutting edge equipment, one-of-a-kind facilities and fully equipped labs
  • Government grants, low cost services, venture capital, and other ways to maximize the return on your innovation investments
  • A growing community of innovative tenants and partners throughout the region

The Park is with you every step of the way from bench to market. Our team will ensure that innovation resources are customized to meet your business needs. We work together, on our campuses or your site, to make innovation happen.

How do I Get Started?

Call us today. Because when industry and the Park work together, things happen. This past year, we launched over 60 industry projects at our Sarnia-Lambton Campus alone:

  • Completed technical troubleshooting for multinational organizations
  • Assisted with new venture creation and start-up opportunities
  • Showcased the talents of graduating students to meet local recruiting needs
  • Helped Small and Medium Sized businesses to access government grants
  • Provided space for some of Canada’s fastest growing companies

We have existing and build-to-suit space on both campuses to support a number of business ventures from start-ups to major industry operations. If you would like to grow your business at the Research Park contact Joel Adams, Research Park Director.

We also have capacity for additional innovation projects, at the Park or your site. Contact Don Hewson, Managing Director, Industry Liaison to enquire about how The Research Park can provide access to the innovation resources your business requires.
